We had the pleasure of documenting the first annual Cruise-a-Thong in Glenwood Springs this past July. “It’s the Don’t-Try-Athlon for the not-so-hardcore athlete in all of us.”
The event started at Veltus Park with a leisurely ride around the loop on a cruiser bike of sorts. The second leg was a short walk in flip flops while carrying your flotation device. The last leg of the Cruise-a-Thong was setting off for a short float down the Roaring Fork River back to Veltus Park. The winner was the one with the most average time, the average Joe of the race. A big congratulations to Jeff Wiltz, the most average joe of the first annual Cruise-a-Thong in Glenwood Springs, Colorado!
This event was a total success and so much fun to photograph! Mark your calendars for the second annual Cruise-a-Thong next July 19th and let the training begin!
